      • 2. A statement of purpose
        Either in Korean or in English, A4 size 1 page, free format
        It should include reasons of application and plans after completing the course in detail..
      • 3. A resume or curriculum vitae
        Either in Korean or in English, A4 size 1 page, free format
        It should include the applicant’s academic background and other achievements in brief.
      • 4. Official academic transcript and certificate of graduation from the most recent school attended
        (Transcripts and certificates from a school in China must be translated into English and notarized.)
      • 5. A copy of current passport (information page with a photo)
      • 6. Application fee: KRW 50,000 (non-refundable)
      • 7. Additional documents required for Chinese students wishing to apply for a D-4 visa:
        • ① Copies of family registration book and identification cards (of students and parents)
        • ② A certificate of the student’s bank statement (the original document)
        • (USD 3,000 or greater or renminbi in the equivalent amount of USD 3,000)
        • ③ A letter of sponsorship from a Korean sponsor
        • When a Chinese student applies for a D-4 visa, the admission process takes about two months or so. Those who wish to register for the program must submit all the required documents within the deadline.
          ※ All documents will not be returned.
        • Students may select one of the following payment methods for application fee payment.

          Direct Cash Payment Visit the KLEC office (Bldg.137-1, #101) to pick up a tuition notice before payment and make cash payment directly to the Nonghyup Bank located at the College of Business Administration (Bldg. 58).
        • ※ Money deposited in the LEI account should be in the name of the depositor.
          ※ If depositing tuition under another person’s name, the student must send a separate receipt indicating his/her name by fax or postal mail.


    • 3) How to Apply
      • 1. On-line Application
        • Students should apply on-line after signing up for the website. All the original documents should be scanned and attached during on-line application (Chinese students’ original academic documents should be separately submitted via postal mail).
      • 2. Postal mailing of the original documents (Students who graduated from Chinese schools only.)
        • Students who graduated from Chinese schools should submit both their original academic transcript and certificate by postal mail. Also, those who wish to apply for D-4 visa through LEI should submit the additional documents for the visa via postal mail.

  • 입학절차
  • ① Candidates will be selected only after the required documents have been assessed. Applications received after the deadline will be considered only if vacancies remain and there is sufficient time for visa processing.
    ② Applicants will be individually notified of the screening results one week after the application deadline.
    ③ Successful applicants are required to pay the tuition fee by the payment deadline upon receiving the notification of acceptance.
    ④ Applicants who require a letter of admission should contact the KLEC office in advance.
    ⑤ Students must take a placement test to complete the admission procedure. Students with no prior knowledge of Korean will be automatically placed in level 1.
