“Language Research” acquired its International Standard Serial Number (ISSN 0254-5574) in 1983 as the first domestic journal in the field of humanities and social sciences. Since publishing English editions biannually in 1984, it has grown into an international journal. In addition, selected as a registered journal by the Korean Research Foundation (KRF) in 2002, “Language Research”s thesis abstract is included in the international database “Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts” (LLBA) published in the United States.
