As English becomes more and more important as a lingua franca, the society requires real communicative ability that allows successful communication in real life beyond simply the ability to read and interpret.

To meet this need, the TEPS Center at the Language Education Institute of Seoul National University has developed the i-TEPS, which provides a global assessment of the communicative ability to listen, speak, read, and write.

The i-TEPS is a computer-based test that measures the four skills and provides an accurate assessment of the test taker’s communicative ability.
