Elective Classes
1. Elective Classes
- ■The elective classes below vary according to the session and the eligibility for the classes depends on your level.
- ■If students want to take elective classes, please enroll in morning class as elective classes take place in the afternoon. Elective classes may not open if there aren’t enough applicants.
* TOPIK Exam Preparation class(includes a fee)
Students will practice problem patterns so that they can get good scores on the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK)
1) Intermediate Class
- -Students in level-3 and 4 classes at the KLEC will learn the grammar needed for the intermediate-level TOPIK.
- -Students will learn problem patterns in vocabulary and grammar, writing, listening comprehension, and reading.
- -Students will learn words including antonyms, synonyms, and polysemous (multisense) words.
2) Advanced Class
- -Students in level-5 and 6 classes at the KLEC will learn the grammar needed for the advanced-level TOPIK.
- -Students will learn problem patterns in vocabulary and grammar, writing, listening comprehension, and reading.
2. Special class (free)
1) Korean alphabet class
- -For (newly enrolled) level 1 students
- -Comprised of two special lectures (in total)
- -Aims to explain the Korean alphabet to students who are not familiar with it
2) Basic grammar class
- -For Level 1 and Level 2 students
- -Comprised of two special lectures (in total)
- -Aims to go over basic grammar so that the student can adapt to level 2 classes
